A twenty year old suspected notorious thief has been arrested as he attempted to open cars during Sunday Holy Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral in Kasese, Kasese Guide Radio has learnt.
ASP Nelson Tumushime, the Rwenzori East Police Spokesperson confirmed the development without divulging any details over the arrest whose investigations had just commenced.
The Kasese Deputy Resident District Commissioner in charge of Busongora County, Mr. Zepher Mubingwa said the suspect was sighted by some suspicious children at Church, alerting one Mr. Peter Masereka, a Church usher who together with other congregants arrested the suspect.
