Over four hundred households in Bughema village in Kisinga subcounty in Kasese district are to benefit from the water project after two water sources of Kamahanga and Kamathembe were confirmed viable for the project, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairman has said.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio after a feasibility study of the water source and a stakeholders’ meeting yesterday, Mr. Muhindi who said the water engineers were to confirm the technical means to join the two water sources, indicated that the project would not only deal with the water challenge but minimize the prevalence of water borne diseases among the local residents.
