Boda-Boda Cyclists in Kasese Municipality have been urged to comply by the presidential directive of temporarily suspending their operations against carrying passengers for two weeks.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio this afternoon shortly after field visit, central division chairperson Mr. Safari Martin observed that a section of Boda-Boda cyclists have violated the directive.
Mr. Safari, advised the cyclists to hire their motorcycles to individuals for town service than being on running battles with enforcement officers that are implementing the presidential directive.

Mr. Maate who later advised Boda-Boda cyclists to stop putting the law into their hands challenged Police officers to arrest only boda-boda cyclists that are allegedly found carrying passengers. Early this morning unidentified numbers of boda-boda motorcycles were impounded by police in Kasese town in an operation led by DPC Kasese ASP Okello Dickens. ENDS
