Six of the nine suspected criminal gang members arrested last night, have been arraigned before courts of law, Kasese guide Radio has learnt.
SP Nelson Tumushime, the Rwenzori East Regional Police spokesperson, confirmed the arrests of, Mr. Ramathan Kule 38, Mr. Godwin Mumbere 20, Mr. Gerald Alinitwe 19, Mr.Isabirye Derrick 24 and Gerald Mumbere among others who were charged with Common Nuisance and remanded to prison, and the three minors released on caution. When asked about police operation plans as Kasese joins the rest of the world in celebrating Christmas, SP Nelson said dark spots and some gang ringleaders, had been identified to ensure the safety of lives and property. END
