Local authorities in Kirabaho-Kabatunda town council in Kasese district has banned Night discos.
Mr. Dominic Nziripande, the town council Mayor says the ban followed a realization that those staging Discos compromised security.
He says the Disco operators often lack security gadgets to check people that enter disco halls, therefore the suspected Allied Democratic Force-ADF could explore the loophole to wreak havoc.

Nziripande said the ban will remain in force until the disco operators adhere to security guidelines.
He asked bar owners to abide by the security committee resolution of operating bars from 2.00pm to 5.00Pm daily.
