Mr.Aggrey Mushabe, the newly sworn-in LC 3 Chairperson of Kagongo Division in Ibanda Municipality has perished in a motor accident.
Mushabe died yesterday morning on his way to Ruhoko Health Center three.
The accident occurred around 11:00 Am along Kashuku road in Ibanda Municipality.
Mr. Dickson Bagonza, an eyewitness, says Mushabe was hit by a speeding FUSO truck registration number UAY 479S as he tried to cross the road.

Mr. Denis Akabigumira, a student at Ibanda University, says the place where Mushabe was hit is a dangerous spot that has claimed the lives of many people and left many others nursing injuries.
He wants the leaders to install traffic lights or zebra crossing around the area.
The Ibanda District Police Commander, Emilly Angomoku says the accident was a result of human error from both the victim and the truck driver who was speeding. END.
