Mr. Yokonia Bwambale, the head teacher for Bwera secondary school in Kasese district, describes the new curriculum as a timely intervention that relieved his school from what he called petty costs on vegetable, carpentry repairs, art and design in the institution.
He also says that in future, school uniforms will cheaply be tailored by learners whose interests in practical work as guided by the new curriculum, were raising mainly among senior one and two students.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at his school over the weekend, Mr. Yokonia asked his learners to be focused, hardworking, disciplined and actively position themselves during the long Christmas holidays to advance their skills and make money to back their education as well.
