The ministry of health registered four new case of Corona virus later yesterday, bringing the number of confirmed cases to 52.
The four cases were tested yesterday and were part of 300 samples tested on the same day.
Dr. Jane Aceng, the minister of health urges Ugandans to stay home and safe as the number of cases in the country continues to rise.
According to the health ministry, the testing of suspected cases has helped stop the spread of the disease, adding that so far, over 2,900 samples have been tested at the Uganda Virus Research Institute.
Reports from the ministry however shows that all the confirmed cases are stable and receiving treatment at Mulago National Referral Hospital, Hoima, Adjumani and Entebbe General Hospitals.
The reports indicate that so far no death of Corona virus is registered in Uganda contrary to some social media posts. END
