About six cows and more than 30 goats were slaughtered for the community and parents by Nadri Preparatory school leadership in Nyamwamba Division in Kasese Municipality for Eid al-Adha celebrations last weekend.
Muslims world over on Saturday celebrated Eid al-Adha that commemorates the Quranic tale of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice Ismail as an act of obedience to God but the Creator later stopped him and provided a ram as an offering.
According to the school administrator, Mr. Twaha Kule Hamuza said the celebrations that covered the whole weekend was an extension of love by the school to the parents, community, teachers and the needy as commanded by the holy Quran. Mr. Twaha speaking……..
