The former Ugandan Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Hon. James Mbahimba has said the number and category of mourners at a funeral depict what the deceased has been like in public and before his God.
Hon. Mbahimba used the tale of a wishful man by telling the mourners not to live on imaginations but make friends, work hard and cleave themselves to the Church if their lives were to be celebrated after death.
Addressing mourners during the requiem service of the late Mzee Nehemiah Njima Nziabake 95 in Rukoki cell in Kasese Municipality over the weekend, Hon. Mbahimba described as a mere dream for anyone to think of Church leaders at his funeral if he is not active Christian known by the Church.
The former Kasese Municipal MP who said legacies are not just wishes but worked for, wonders how one would expect many mourners at his funeral if he doesn’t bury and a lot of food to those mourning him if he kept a lazy life.
Hon. Mbahimba speaking……..
The Kasese Municipal Member of Parliament, Hon. FerigoKambale used the local hit, “Ekiro Kineyo“ by Chance Kahindo, a local artist based in Kasese district to ask the mourners against pride but promote forgiveness and reconciliation since their short life is worth nothing and withers like a flower. Hon. Ferigo speaking…
The Kasese district chairperson, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi called for routine medical tests, selective eating and avoiding prolonged anger by community members if they were to live healthy. Mr. Muhindi speaking…..
To the former Kasese district chairperson, Mr. Geoffrey Bigogo, the deceased he described as soft but a disciplinarian, lived what it takes for a family head.
May the soul of the deceased rest in eternal peace. END
