Sheikh Dr. Nasib Musenene, the general secretary for the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council in Kasese district has asked the Moslem faithful to make good use of the fasting day ahead of Eid al-Adha celebrations as means to ask for the mercies of Allah.
Muslims don’t fast for any extended period before Eid al-Adha, but it’s common to fast on the day of Arafat, which falls on the 9th day of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah.
During an interview with Kasese Guide Radio at Kasese main mosque yesterday, Sheikh Dr. Musenene urges Muslim to utilize the fasting time to repent and ask for forgiveness as the only means that Allah will forgive their sins. Sheikh Dr. Musenene speaking 1………

Sheikh Musenene later asked the Muslim faithful not to look at the festival celebrations but to use Eidh Al-Adha to promote love, unity, peace and give to those in need as means to win the mercies of Allah. END
