President Museveni has assured the country that the Government will maintain peace and political stability as a way of promoting the tourism industry.
This was contained in President Museveni’s message read by the Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Hon. Col.Tom Butime during the celebration to mark the World Tourism Day, held this afternoon at Nyakasanga playground in Kasese town.
Museveni said Political stability and security are fundamental in promoting tourism.
He said the Government would work towards making tourism a number one foreign exchange in Uganda, therefore appealing to different stakeholders to contribute to peace in promoting tourism. Hon. Butime speaking……
