President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has attacked District service commissions across the country for allegedly selling government jobs to Ugandans.
Speaking at the 37th NRM/NRA Victory Day celebrations at Kakeeka grounds in Kakumiro yesterday, Mr. Museveni said several members of the District service commissions across the country are selling local government jobs and others asking for sexual favors in exchange for jobs, a trend the President asked Ugandans and security ought to provide all evidence about for urgent appropriate action against. The President also vowed to take tough action against school proprietors who have unnecessarily increased school fees both in private and public institutions of learning saying it is uncalled for and that government will expeditiously reign over errant education institutions.

Mr.Museveni has also warned politicians and leaders across the country against sectarianism saying politics based on the vise is criminal and will not be tolerated at all.
The Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, the Prime Minister of Uganda commended the NRM government for the fundamental changes ushered in the region, attributing the changes to stable peace and security.
Hon. Milly Babirye Babalanda, the minister for Presidency applauded the Bush war veterans and their fallen colleagues for their contribution towards Uganda’s Socio-economic transformation saying that it is because of the peace they ushered in that the country is steadily transforming in various sectors.
She applauded the President for wisely advising Ugandans and protecting the citizens during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
During the celebrations, 45 people received various medals in honor of their contribution towards the development, peace and the liberation of Uganda. END
