The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has officially handed over the Mubuku Youth Training Skills Centre in Ibanda-Kyanya Town Council, Kasese District, to the community following the completion of rehabilitation works.
Mr. Ezekiel Kimpi, representing the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, handed over the facility to the town council leadership on Thursday at the institute premises and called upon the community to properly utilize the facility.

The Commissioner for Youth and Children Affairs, Mr. Fred Ngabirano, who thanked the government for the initiative, advised the local community to ensure proper maintenance and supervision of the facility.
Meanwhile, the Town Clerk of Ibanda-Kyanya Town Council, Mr. Robert Isingoma, together with the LC I Chairperson of Ibanda Upper, Mr. Ernest Basolene Kamalha, appealed to the government to rehabilitate roads and extend piped water services to the town council. END
