Mr. Joseph Nyamutale, the Local Council III Chairperson for Mubuku Town Council in Kasese District, has reaffirmed his commitment to improve the drainage system in the next financial year.
Speaking to our reporter yesterday in Kasese Town, Nyamutale acknowledged that the poor drainage system in Mubuku has significantly contributed to flooding and poor sanitation issues that have not only led to the spread of diseases but have also claimed lives.
According to Mr. Nyamutale, the town clerk and the engineer have already prepared and submitted the Bills of Quantities to the Ministry of Works, seeking funding for a long-term solution to the drainage challenges facing the Mubuku town council. Mr. Nyamutale speaking…
