Mr. Jafali Kigutiha, the Basecamp Lower cell chairman in Kasese Municipality has described Mt. St. Mary’s specialized hospital in Kasese as a backup force to the existing health facilities aimed at cementing plans for good health among community members.
He was concerned that whereas the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira has invested much to fill the gaps in specialized medication, some local leaders and community members seem to be against the investment over what he called selfish intentions.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio shortly after a cleaning exercise yesterday ahead of the hospital launch tomorrow, Mr. Kigutiha said the project was a dream come true thus, asking the government of Uganda to fully invest in the facility to enable it offer the required and relatively cost effective specialized medication.
He also congratulated Bishop Kibira and his development partners for Mt. St. Mary’s hospital he said ought to be fully owned by the local community members. Mr. Kigutiha speaking1……..
