Ms Biira Doreen, the brand manager for Miss Tourism in the Rwenzori region says the Ms Tourism event today looks into sourcing for an eloquent, composed and intelligent young lady who is able to promote nature in Uganda.
The first-ever Rwenzori Theluji, meaning snow Festival has kicked off to showcase the opportunities and cultural diversities in the Rwenzori region to attract investors and tourists.
In an interview with Kasese guide radio this morning, Ms Doreen who called for a positive mindset about the event, said beauty pigeon selections looks beyond beauty, including presenting of project proposals aimed at promoting touring in the Rwenzori region, Uganda and beyond. Mr. Godfrey Kule Kiwede, the Operations Manager at Shilo Hotels, the host venue for Miss Tourism-Rwenzori today said all was in place to receive the guests and the event that is mainly to promote tourism.
