Mrs. Raphaline Katusabe Bitamazire from Ibanda Parish in the Diocese of Kasese has received instruments of power as the newly elected chairperson for Kasese Diocesan Catholic Woman Apostolate, with a call on the new executive to emphasize hard work, prayer and discipline among members.
In her handover speech at the Kasese parish hall yesterday, the outgoing chairperson, Ms Jane Kamashamba commended the Ordinary of Kasese Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale for boosting the livelihoods of the women apostolate, asking the newly elected leadership to build on the already established foundation by uplifting the living conditions of the Catholic women; physically, spiritually, academically and financially. In her maiden speech, Mrs. Katusabe, asked women to impress prayer and Catechism among their family members she said must timely be guided as means of preparing the future Church and families that should always seek for the intercession of Mother Mary to succeed.
