An educationist in Kasese district Mrs. Annah Muhindo has announced her intention for representing western Uganda elder’s Member of Parliament in the 12th parliament.
Speaking to our reporter yesterday, Mrs. Annah Muhindo who has served in different portfolios in the district says she wants to be the voice of hope for the elderly.
She used the same platform saying she will advocate for people who have been suffering and their property taken away from them without fair justice.

Last month, government created five seats for elderly members of Parliament and rolled out their election plan.
This was passed by Parliament last month through the Parliament Election Amendment Bill 2020.
