The Kasese District FDC Chairperson, Mr. Saulo Maate has hailed the Ugandan People`s Defense Forces for punishing their six officers who were guilty of mistreating civilians they arrested in the guise of implementing the Presidential directives on curfew.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio on phone, Mr. Saulo said that the six months jail term to officers by the Military Court martial was an appropriate punishment to warn some other officers who were planning to use the current Corona virus emergence for selfish ends.
