    Mr. Saulo Maate has called for urgent intervention by government into the issues of the truck drivers from the neighboring countries.

    The Kasese district FDC Chairperson, Mr. Saulo Maate has called for urgent intervention by government into the issues of the truck drivers from the neighboring countries whose continued cross border movements are pausing a big threat to spreading COVID-19 into the country.

    Mr. Saulo who commended Ugandans for fulfilling the Presidential guidelines on the deadly Corona virus despite some challenges proposed tough restriction tame the truck drivers whose activities were not only a risk but deadly to Ugandans; looking at the number of positive cases from the neighboring countries. Mr. Saulo speaking1………

    Mr. Saulo used the same opportunity to a peal to the President to mobilize his Minister, district officials and individuals in big positions to individually contribute to the cause of aiding the needy who have badly been affected by the current lock down. Mr. Saulo speaking2……..

    The FDC Chairperson for Lake Katwe Sub County in Kasese district Mr. Paul Kimbesa asked the Kasese district COVID-19 taskforce to consider aiding food the communities along the land cites whose living conditions have been made worse by the suspended public transport in the country. Mr. Kimbesa speaking…….

    In all the mobilization plans to aid the needy, able people have been asked share the little they have with their neighbors, with Mr. Modesto Kyangwesa donating a box of Razor blades to the office of the RDC Kasese district to help those in need to shave their hair now that hair saloons closed temporarily by President Museveni.
