The Chairperson for the association of secondary school head teachers of Uganda in Rwenzori Region, Mr. Joseph Nzukwa has described as un fortunate though necessary the current strike by teachers whose industry action would be regrettable in future.
Mr. Nzukwa who asked government to closely look into the plight of teachers in Uganda, said the strike may in future turn into another form of fuel to the increasing number of school dropouts and strikes in schools.
He asked his colleagues to get back to class as the purported imbalance and increases into salaries are being sorted out by government.
