    Mr. Charles Owiny ,argues effective communication among married couples for family stability

    No stable family with no effective communication between married couples, Mr. Charles Owiny, the Vice chairperson Head of Laity of the Good Shepherd Cathedral Parish has said.

    In an interview shortly after first Holy Mass that also hosted the National world day Social Communications celebrations in Kotido diocese, Mr. Charles doubts genuine love by couples and their families whose communication is mired by loose talk.

    Mr. Charles who asked married couples to improve on their communication for their good and the families, warned that ineffective communication causes suspicions. Mr. Charles speaking……

    In his homily during  first Mass, the Bishop of Kotido diocese, Rt. Rev. Giuseppe Fillipi used this year`s theme, Listening with the Heart` to ask Christians and leaders to turn communication into her real meaning of bringing peace and unity among community members, some of whom have been infiltrated with  miss informers for selfish reasons.

    Ms Grace Akulo, a chair member, wife and mother of two blames family conflicts partly to impatience and poor listening by some married couples who end up making decisions based on suspicions.

    In his speech, Bishop Joseph Franzel, the chairman of the socialcommunications of the Uganda Episcopal conference said this year`s celebrations should not only focus on collections but a reflection on the Creation by God who wants his people to use their mouth to complete his mission on earth.     He also asked communicators to use their positions to reverse the miss communication on social media by guiding the people of what is required of them by God. The world communication day celebrations will be held on May 29/ END.
