Hon. Ferigo Kambale, the Kasese municipality member of parliament has called for the promotion of brotherhood against independent candidature he says has cost the NRM party many times.
Speaking at the official function to celebrate the decision by the FDC defectors to the NRM Party in Mumbuzi cell, Nyamwamba division in Kasese municipality, Mr. Ferigo said whereas party members can support candidates of their choice during primaries, flag bearers should have the mandate of all party members.
Hon. Ferigo called for party unity he said will ably cement plans for success during the local council one and two elections.

He also announced that with the current infrastructural development, Kasese Municipality would soon be elevated to a city status.
The area local council three chairperson for Nyamwamba division, Mr. Pimako Kasereka called on NRM supporters to mobilize for the party whole heartedly before asking the community not to be misled by the opposition political players about development that are visible.
