Ms Mary Mbambu, a sixty four old resident of Base Camp upper cell in Kasese municipality, calls for what she describes as a dressing code overhaul without which, morals among the young people would go to the dogs.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio at Kasese municipality headquarters today, Ms Mary said the indecent dressing code was not only a sign of indiscipline, irresponsibility and loss of morals but a slap to cultural and religious values.
She asked faith based, cultural and civil society institutions, and government to collaborate against poor dressing codes that will end up forcing Uganda into the ‘sea’. Ms. Mary speaking……..
Mr. William Bwambale Mutahunga, the Kasese District Community Development officer, called for self-respect among the young people, as well as asking parents for ample and accommodative approaches while dealing with morals of their children. Mr. Mutahunga speaking……..
He also called for communal upbringing of children to jointly fix the deteriorating morals among the young people. END
