There was drama like scenario caused by unending exchanges over the leadership wrangles of the Taxi drivers’ association in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in Kasese district.
The meeting turned noisier when the Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town clerk, Mr. Moses Mugisa in support of most drivers threatened to dissolve the current overdue interim committee led by Mr. Ayubu Ntumeli Kasero whom they allege had mismanaged their association.
During hot meeting that raised attention of some UPDF officers, Mr. Moses took a firm stand against the will of the Kasero leadership by announcing legal decisions for the good of the struggling commercial drivers. Mr. Moses and Mr. Kasero exchange………
In his Ruling, Mr. Moses announced his takeover of the leadership for one month within which, the new registration of Taxi Drivers would be done ahead of the new executive committee. Mr. Moses speaking……
On hearing Moses’ ruling Mr. Kasero stormed out of the meeting held at the town council headquarters, saying the decision by the town clerk was misleading. Mr. Kasero storming out of meeting……….
