Government, through the Ministry of Information, Communication Technology, and National Guidance, under the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), has donated tablets to residents living along the Ugandan Boarder in Mpondwe Lhubiriha town council in a bid to enhance communication in the area.
A total of 200 tablets were yesterday distributed to residents during a handover ceremony held at Bwera Primary Teachers’ College. The tablets were secured through the efforts of the Minister of State for National Guidance, Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabbyanga.
While handing over the devices, Hon. Kabbyanga urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the ICT tools, emphasizing their potential in improving communication and access to government services.
