The Ministry of Gender, labour and social development has launched a new safe pal app on cell phones of community development officers that will help to track and report gender based violence cases against children in the country.
According to the programs officer Ministry of gender Mr. Wilson Magere, the app will help the community to report directly issues on sexual reproductive health, tuberculosis and violence against children and marriage.
Speaking to our reporter yesterday shortly after launch at Kasese district headquarters, Mr. Magere said with confidence of the app the young people will be linked to service providers.
