Sensitization for positive mindset change on Climate Changes among the local community should be a role of every media practitioner in Uganda, Mr. Peter Balaba, the representative of the Executive director for Community Media Network Uganda has asserted.
In an interview with Kasese guide radio shortly after closing a two days training workshop on causes of climate change at Satellite hotel in Kampala yesterday, Mr. Peter said that time was ripe for media house to design programs that ably sensitize the community about the value of mitigating against acts that badly affect nature.
He also believes that well designed programs on climate change could ably call for sponsors to back the financial mussels of media houses. Mr. Peter speaking………
