Hon.James Mbahimba, the Ugandan Ambassador to Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo has re-affirmed his commitment to solicit support for all the NRM flag bearers in Kasese district.
Hon.Mbahimba, who was a Member of Parliament for Kasese Municipality from 2011
to 2016, lost the NRM party flag to Ferigo Kambale in the then
party primary elections ahead of the 2016 general elections.
The incident gave rise to two camps, one for Mbahimba and the other
for Ferigo Kambale, but such confusion, the NRM party lost
the parliamentary seat to Robert Franco Centenary of FDC.
Yesterday, representatives from the
two camps held a formal
reconciliation meeting at Half Landon Guest House and agreed to forget
their differences but work for all the party flag bearers.
During the meeting, Hon.Mbahimba declared his commitment to work together with
Ferigo Kambale to mobilize votes for him as well as the party.
