The Kasese Municipal Mayor, His Worship Chance Kahindo has clarified that Mr. Seith Ahebwa is the Kasese Municipal Principal Education officer unless their concerns related to the appointment are honored.
In a letter dated August 19th this year signed by the Kasese Municipal Deputy Mayor, Mr. Rabson Mupango to the Kasese District Service Commission, Kasese Municipal leadership sought clarification about the appointment of Mr. Ahebwa to the Position they think the current bearer assumed illegally.
Its against this back ground that the Kasese Municipal Secretary for Social services, Hon. Herbert Bwambale directed school leaderships in the Municipality council not to recognize Mr. Ahebwa as the Principal Education officer, a position that was temporary assumed by Mr. Emmy Kayiri Mwesige. In an interview with Kasese Guide radio last evening however, His Worship Chance Kahindo described the Ahebwa appointment as a legal matter that can only be dealt with lawfully.
Mr. Chance said Mr. Ahebwa is legally in office and any position contrary to that, would only take course if the concerns contained in their August letter are considered. Mayor Chance speaking…….
