His Worship Chance Kahindo, the Kasese Municipal Mayor, has warned the public against engaging in divisive politics based on regionalism.
Addressing hundreds of people at the official campaign launch of Hon. Nzoghu William an aspirant for Member of Parliament for Busongora County North on FDC ticket held yesterday at Kirabaho–Kabatunda Town Council in Kasese district, Chance cited the example of recent land claimants who camped at his office for three months, regardless of their sub-counties, as proof of the unity and neutrality of all Bayira.

Hon. Nzoghu, who seeks to return to Parliament, revealed that he had lobbied for the establishment of four government secondary schools during his previous tenure. He pledged to lobby for more schools should he be re-elected to represent the constituency in Parliament. Hon. Nzoghu speaking.

Hon. Florence Kabugho, the Kasese District Woman MP; Mr. Sibendire Geoffrey Bigogo, the LCV FDC candidate; and Hon.
