The Kasese district local council five chairperson, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi has asked married couples to strive for peaceful new year’s celebrations for a conflict free and developmental 2023.

Mr. Muhindi who congratulated his electorates upon reaching what he called a peaceful Christmas day drive despite some challenges, said absence of meat in a home should not be the basis for frictions that deter future developments.

He also called for responsible celebrations against prolonged outings that end up diverting some family members and heads from their roles.
