A thirty five year old man has survived lynching by an irritated mob after the intervention by the local leadership and police.
According to Mr. Phenahas Wakiubanahi, the local council one Chairperson for Kizungu cell in Kasese Municipality, Mr. Ronald Mumbere, the suspect and a local resident of Kidodo cell hailing from Kathoma village in Karambi Sub County was rounded off as he intended to sell a stolen sport bike.
Mr. Phenahasi said after he and other local leaders were overpowered by the angry mob, he called in the intervention of police for rescue.
