The 38-year-old man who was recently attacked by a suspected crocodile that disappeared with his right arm, is reportedly hopeless about the possibilities of clearing the expected costly treatment at Mt. St. Mary’s hospital based in Kasese Municipality.
At his sickbed, Mr. Justus Nyesigye who was also skeptical about the welfare of his family now that he can no longer provide fully, said while fishing at Hamukungu landing site in Lake Katwe Sub County in Kasese district, the reptile attacked him, vanishing with his right arm until his brother and the nearby locals intervened for rescue and later rushed him St. Mary’s hospital. Dr. Kayiwa Mubaraka, an Orthopedic Surgeon at the facility said Mr. Justus’ life was out of danger, adding that other processes would be done, including sealing the affected body parts now that the limb was taken by the croc before his discharge. Dr. Kayiwa speaking1……..
