    Man arrested on allegation of raping his 12 aged daughter

    Police in Kasese is holding a 50 years old man on allegation of raping his daughter aged 12.

    The Acting Rwenzori East Region police spokesperson, ASP Ismail Kaawa confirmed the information and identified the suspect as Milton Mahwah a resident of Kyababinga cell in Kirembe ward Kasese Municipality.

    ASP Kawaa who said police is investigating the matter, asked parents and guardians to play a watch dog role among their children.

    ASP Kaawo said police have been receiving rape and defilement cases on daily basis in Kasese district in the town councils of Hima and Bwera where some suspects have been convicted.

    Kasese district senior probation and welfare officer Ms. Asiimwe Zainabu called for timely reporting about defilement and rape cases.

    Ms.Zainabu on incest……

    She also asked religious and cultural leaders to sensitize the mass about moral rehabilitation. END.
