One Mr. Yasoni Bukoko Cassette 54, a local resident of Kiraro village in Kitholhu is said to have been arrested by police for the alleged sexual abuse of a mentally ill lady.
All attempts to get a comment from police ended in vain but Mr. Wilson Mutatina, the secretary for production for Kiraro village confirmed the incident that police reigned over as the area local leaders interrogated the suspect about.
Mr. Mutatina who said Mr. Bukoko, the suspect had no wife could not believe that such an incident could be done by a man who knows well the lacking health condition of the victim whose identity Kasese Guide Radio will not disclose. Mr. Mutatina speaking……..
The area local council one chairperson, Mr. Thomas Bwambale said because of the long distance between the police post and his village, the suspect could be handed over to the police till this morning but that the victim was to undergo medical examination before determining the charges against Mr. Cassette. Mr. Thomas speaking……..
Mr. Alfred Bwambale, the Parish Communicator for Kyabikere parish had earlier said the suspect is a neighbor to the victim whose mentality is in doubt. END
