A 35 year old man is nursing wounds at Mt.St.Mary,s Hospital, Diocese of Kasese after narrowly escaped lynching by residents of Kyababinga trading center in Kasese Municipality.
Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, ASP Nelson Tumushime confirmed the information and identified the victim as, Mr. Bruno Masereka a resident of Ighanza village in Mahango sub-county who was reportedly pounced at by the irate mob, spilled petrol on his body and burnt him on suspension of theft after failing to pay alcohol bills.
