The Minister for security in Uganda Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi has donated two hundred iron sheets to St. John Mithibiri church of Uganda in Muhokya sub-county, Kasese district.
The donation was delivered by the Political assistant for Busongora county south Member of Parliament, Mr. Stephen Muthakengwa.
Muthakengwa said Maj.Gen. Muhwezi had offered the iron sheets in appreciation of the support the people of Muhokya sub-county but in particular Nyamirami had shown to the NRM Government during the recent NRM by-elections that saw Hon.Gideon Thembo Mujungu retain his seat as Member of Parliament. The Member of Parliament for Busongora County south, Hon.Gideon Thembo Mujungu donated five hundred thousand shillings cash for constructing the church.
Mr. Johnson Kamalha Kalyasa, the Vice chairperson National Resistance Movement-NRM for Kasese district asked Christians to support the ruling party as a strategy to lobby government funds.
Mr. Kamalha speaking……..
He urged the public to engage in various government programs including, the parish development model irrespective of different political affiliations.
