The Uganda Peoples Defense Forces –UPDF under operation Shujja, has put into action twenty senior ADF commanders in Mwalika Valley in the eastern democratic republic of Congo since operation commenced.
The Commander Operation Shujja, Maj. Gen. Dick Olum said the UPDF troops and FARDC will not relent until the ADF commanders and control structure is fully destroyed.
Addressing the press shortly after reuniting over fifty ADF Congolese abductees to their families at a function held in Kasindi in DRC yesterday afternoon, Gen.Olum said most ADF commanders have since been killed while others have been captured.

He said UPDF and FARDC has a memorandum of understanding signed by the two presidents that clearly stipulates the operation of the Army into DRC to flush out Allied Democratic Forces-ADF remnants.
