The local leadership of Mahango subcounty has called for relocation to safer areas of some local residents they are in disaster prone areas now that seasonal rains have started.
Speaking to Kasese Guided radio in Kasese down this afternoon, the local council III chairperson for Mahango Sub-county, Mr. Eric Mathu said that the rains over last weekend warned that should nothing be done to relocate the locals in disaster prone areas, their lives would be in danger during the wet season.
