    M7’s 17th Covid-19 address excites Boda-boda riders & saloon owners in Kasese town.

    There was excitement in many parts of Kasese district, including Kasese Municipality after President Musevene-opened arcades, saloons and allowed Boda-bodas operate though in shifts during his Nation address last night.

    In his seventeenth state of nation`s address at Nakasero State lodge last evening, President Museveni who emphacized social disatancing, sanitizing and the use of temperature guns in fighting COVID-19 said out of two hundred thirty Arcades in Kampala, only one hundred ten will open alongside saloons as should begin immediately as Boda-boda  start operation on 27th July, 2020 but with a record of their customers and face masks.     His satatements later forced some riders in Basecamp, Majengo, Kizungu Nyamwamba like in other parts whistle, burn old tyres, drum and chant, Museveni no change to express their excitement over what many riders described as a relief to their business and living conditions.

    The situation however forced police in Kasese to swing in action to put off the fire that was also fueled by exctement caused the extention of the curfew that the President extended from 7pm to 9pm each day.

    Mr. Joseph Kisembo, a Boda-Boda rider at Majengo trading center who said that their customers had resorted to doing all for themselves over the many restrictions on bodas, hailed President Museveni for bothering much to protect Ugandans from the deadly virus. Mr. Joseph speaking……

    Earlier, President Museveni who announced that he would make a concrete decision about the learning institutions in September said that he will consult the leadership of the faith based institutions through his health experts about what can be done for the safety of God`s people he knows are internally suffering over the lock down.     Meanwhile, the President who described as murderer for story tellers for frustrating plans to fund scientists warned all those who want to riot because of the lock down, saying that they were waiting for them. END
