Hon. Lukas Buhaka Bwambale, a famous veteran local politician in Kasese Municipality has described as stage managers some politicians in the district whom he said do little to interpret and guide the locals on matters of public interest for personal reasons.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio this morning, Hon. Lukas, the voice of the Voiceless as referred to, said the frictions about Kilembe mines hospital, a private, nonprofit making health facility and elevating Rukoki health four to a hospital status are un called for since the two facilities are different in setting and operations.
He reminded the politicians in Kasese that government has never had a health facility called Kilembe Mines hospital but a partner like any other in the former tripartite agreement.
Hon. Lukas who said there was no competition between the two health facilities, prays that the politicians leave their selfish stage managed political drama but work together to the advantage of the people. Hon. Lukas speaking…….
Earlier this morning, Hon. Ferigo Kambale, the Kasese Municipal Member of Parliament said he had written to the Kasese district Chief Administrative officer, Mr. Elias Byamungu about his recent letter to withdraw personnel and equipment from Kilembe Mines hospital, saying the instructions were un called for before Parliament pronounces itself about the matter.
Hon. Ferigo who did not explain further the levels of autonomy by Kasese Municipality, said the Kasese district CAO has no mandate to rule over the personnel of the Municipal personnel deployment but the town clerk. Hon. Ferigo speaking………
In a recent interview with this radio, the Kasese district local council five chairpersons, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi said this executive had planned to meet the CAO soon after his return from his official duties in Kampala. END
