Kasese Resident District Commissioner, Lt. Joe Walusimbi has called for an audit by the Inspector General of Government-IGG over the alleged hike of school fees in public schools.
Lt. Walunsimbi said he will soon write to the Inspector General of Government-IGG seeking for an audit in public schools that are reportedly charging fees from learners in Kasese district.
In an interview with Kasese Guide Radio this morning, Lt.Walunsimbi said he will not allow parents and guardians suffer when government has introduced free universal and secondary education for all in Uganda.
