By Peter Masereka,
The local population is likely to miss out on services should political leaders continue prioritizing their individual and political party interests than the concerns of their voters, Bishop Francis Aquirinus Kibira, the Ordinary of Kasese has warned.
Bishop Kibira said political leaders should not cleave to their interests and lie to the masses for votes but rather look at their concerns of the people for solutions.
In his homily while presiding over Holy Mass at St. Jude Rwenjubu Primary School in Katwe Parish yesterday, Bishop Kibira asked political leaders to popularize unity, forgiveness and peace among their locals who should not be diverted by selfish party and individual interests because the population needs one another.
