The Kasese Municipal Mayor, His Worship Chance Kahindo has threatened to apply an iron hand against the owners of the loitering domestic animals that have messed up with the plans to green Kasese Municipality.
In his State of Affairs speech during the Municipal Budget conference for 2023/2024 at the Kasese Multipurpose Hall yesterday, Mr. Chance who indicated the animals were also a threat to traffic, said it was hard for Kasese Municipality to realize her goal for a clean and green environment with the presence of loitering domestic animals, mainly goats, sheep, cattle and pigs of late.
He later directed the town clerk to intensify the operations against loitering animals he thinks may force Kasese Municipality amend to tougher laws, including turning such animals into public property, should the local community fail to cooperate. Mr. Chance speaking1…
