The local residents of Bugemu-Kitaturwa village in Kayanja parish, Nyakiyumbu sub-county in Kasese district call for the interventions of both the sub-county and district leaderships into the water challenges that have threatened life in the area.

Mr. Peter Sunday Kakule, the sub-county chairperson, sympathized with the locals, adding that besides reports to the district water engineer for the repair of the borehole, plans are underway for a feasibility study to serve the area from the Bwera-Katwe Kabatooro water scheme as a lasting solution.
