Mr. Fredrik Kule, the local council one vice chairperson for Kathabukenene village in Maliba sub-county in Kasese district has called for expedited plans aimed at grading the Maliba-Isule road to ease road communication in the area.
He said the road was not only frustrating business in the area but a life risking factor to transporters, as well as the elderly weak and sick people who take long to reach their destinations.
Mr. Kule later told this radio that whereas the Kasese district chairperson, Mr. Eriphaz Muhindi had lobbied for a bulldozer currently working in Kitholhu subcounty and later next month on the Golf-Mahango road, plans should as well be put in place to fulfill his pledge to work on the rough Maliba-Isule road. Mr. Kule speaking…….
He was also concerned about the increasing cases of theft that need the intervention of the district security committee before the locals are left bare hands. END
