Parents and Guardians have been urged to be at the fore front of developing local schools than relying on Government and donor funding.
The message was contained in a report read by Mr. Neckson Thaheramboko, who represented the Director Uganda Youth Forum, Mr. Leonard Imanishimwe at a donors conference held yesterday at Kogere Primary School in Nyamwamba division, Kasese Municipality.
Mr. Imanishiime, noted that on several occasions parents tent to ignore investing in local primary and secondary schools to boost education of their children thinking its governments responsibility to develop schools.

Ms.Lavinya Kabugho Rujumba, the head teacher Kogere Primary school, said the donor’s conference was aimed to rehabilitate six classrooms and erect a permanent fence at the facility.
