The Bishop of Soroti Catholic Diocese, Rt. Rev. Joseph Eciru Oliach, has urged married couples to place prayer above betting and alcohol consumption.
Bishop Oliach delivered this message during a ceremony where he wedded 35 couples and confirmed over 280 children and adults, celebrating St. Simon’s parish day at St. Catherine Catholic Church at Osudio Primary School.
The bishop emphasized the importance of persistent prayer and good deeds, cautioning that positive efforts can be undermined when one is under the influence of alcohol.
